The Wedding of Mr & Mrs Williams
I'm very excited to finally be able to share with you the wedding of Jase and Carly Williams. Studio Campbell designed their wedding invitations back at the beginning of the year and have since been working on the rest of the wedding stationery.

This gorgeous couple exchanged vows on Tuesday 31st May 2016 at St Mary's Church in Alverstoke, Hampshire. Though the weather was very wet (to say the least) after such a beautiful sunny bank holiday, the couple did not let it ruin their big day.
The Bride wore a sensational gown, picked from Anya's Bridal Boutique with a stunning low back, long train and gorgeous lace detail.
The Bridesmaids looked amazing in their mint coloured, floor length dresses with pastel pink and cream bouquets that contrasted beautifully.
The Groom and his best men wore charcoal grey suits, looking very dapper with matching mint green ties.
Carly and Jase came to me last summer with the ideas for their wedding invitations. It was a wonderful mix of mint green, vintage and marvel characters.
You'll probably remember them from a post I did back at the beginning of the year...
Like me, Carly was also marrying a marvel crazy fanatic and I loved the idea of bringing together two completely different contrasting ideas into one design, that would represent them both perfectly as a couple.
The design took on a backyard garden style with a mint green fence, an enchanted tree lit with jam jars and lanterns and a dusty vintage backdrop. The font was a playful handwritten style that could be read at different point sizes and each page featured a different marvel character of the groom’s choice.
After the success of the invitations, it was then time to start on the Order of Service, Table Plan, Table Names and Place Settings. The Order of Service was an A5 folded program with a textured cover and white 4pp insert.
The Table Plan was designed as indivdual pieces to be pegged to a giant frame that the Bride had put together. It followed the same style as the invitations, each table became a superhero.
We kept the marvel characters to a black and white vintage outline which didn't clash with the mint green and jam jar design.
The Bride and Groom had specific ideas for their big day. They opted for marvel themed, trump style playing cards as their Table Names. We added a bit of colour into the characters for these which made them bold and more playful. Each table featured a pack of Marvel themed trump playing cards too.
The Groom was very specific about which superheroes he wanted for the tables.
Studio Campbell also have a fully functioning, wooden postbox that can be rented out for your wedding day (details yet to be included on the site). There are two frames that can be personalised to suit your wedding theme.
Wedding favours were personalised jams with the couples' name and wedding date printed on the back, so working with the Bride, we decided it would be a nice touch to have the Place Names as tags tied to the jars.
Keeping with the Marvel theme, the couple wanted to feature quotes on the back of each tag. Depending on which table you sat on, your tag featured a romantic quote from that Marvel film on the opposite side from your name.
And of course, what's a marvel themed wedding, without a marvel themed wedding cake! Complete with Deadpool hanging out of the bottom tier.
Carly and Jase were ecstatic with how the day came together, how all their ideas were brought to life and how it represented them so well as a couple. I can't thank them enough for letting me have such a big part in their day and giving me such a creative brief to work on.
Studio Campbell wishes them a very happy future together as Mr and Mrs Williams!
