On the 18th March another one of my lovely couples got married. I've been looking forward to sharing their wedding stationery with you after designing their wedding invites last year (see below)
The invites were possibly one of my most challenging briefs yet, combining emerald green, hints of pale pink and white, cherry blossom flowers, a vintage / fairytale theme with hints of New York and a bit of bling. I loved the challenge and the couple were ecstatic with the results. So much so that I was asked to design the rest of their stationery. I've been very lucky to receive these wonderful photos of the designs on the day.
Confetti cone inserts added an extra special touch to the ceremony.
Abbie wanted to follow the New York theme into her table plan so we selected various attractions around the city. She had already seen a table plan featured on a mirror and loved the idea.
Abbie wanted cookies as her wedding favours so we came up with the idea of name tags that could be tied to each biscuit.
Each table became a different New York landmark. I loved the idea of an over exposed black and white image to represent different attractions in the city.
Every place setting featured a menu with a design that was consistent with the rest of the stationery and the bride also wanted cutlery tags to thank her guests for sharing their first meal as Mr & Mrs. A nice little personal touch.
It's been wonderful to work so closely with Abbie and Adam, helping to bring their dream wedding to life. We wish them all the best on their new adventure as husband and wife.
