Rachael Reynolds School of Dance
INDUSTRY: Dance School
BRIEF: Rachael fulfilled her dream by launching Rachael Reynolds school of Dance in 2018 and has created a community for dancers of all ages and abilities. She wanted a brand that would be an extension of her and completely embody her personality, energy and passion for performing.
We used a silhouette of Rachael within the design to replace the letter 'A'. She liked the idea of creating energy and movement within the logo. The logo would be used on uniforms so there had to be a secondary badge icon that would work with the brand too.
The design had to appeal to all gender types and adults so we gave it a funky edge with a handwritten typeface and a neutral colour palette.
“Working with Kayleigh is like working with another part of your own creative mind. When creating my dance school brand I had an idea of what I wanted but was apprehensive to communicate it well enough to Kayleigh to actually bring it to life. She allowed so much time to listen to my ideas and then added the perfect balance of her own suggestions based on my vision for the school which opened up more ideas I didn’t even know I had. Kayleigh has a way of making you feel like she shares the same level of passion for your brand as you do which allows you to relax and experiment with ideas through the initial design process and finish with the perfect product. Branding is a first impression for potential customers and clients meaning it adds a lot of pressure to get it right!
